the call
every time the phone rings i get butterflies. i go running for it and i check the glowing green face on it. i see it flashing and hear its jingle and then i focus on the tiny pixels spelling a name and a number.

and then the disappointment sets in... when i see its not you...

telling me my car is ok.

its all fixed.

i can come pick it up.

i hate not having a car. ive been sitting here all day. its beautiful out. warm at least. but here i sit. for the 4th time today.

i usually spend a large amount of time on the coputer once every few days. today, ive signed on and off and on and off and done crossword puzzles and watched the olympics inbetween.

im feeling really productive today. i want to go look for a bed and go out with my newly 21yo sister and get lunch andgo shopping. but im sure its only because i dont have a car. if it were running great and in my driveway... id still be in my pjs looking for something to eat...
