super saturday...

what a day already...
well... considering i was up until 5am...

i had to work last night which was a blast because the people i met the other night at lilis came in... 3 out of 4. one of the gilrs wasnt feeling good after all the high lifes she drank on friday and the other girl was upset about a hair cut that she thought was bad. she too was not feeling physically well either...

their fiancees hung out all night and were great. i got to talk to the girls a lot on friday and the boys on staurday so i think i have an ok understanding of them as individuals... which is good because getting to know people purely as couples can really throw off things about each person you miss in the mix...

im really excited that they actually came thou because it shows that these are genuine good people who want to give other people a chance and they are really serious about making friends. and the best part about it is... i already feel like i have know these 4 for a while. but its been 60 hours max.
so i cannot express how excited i am about that... there have only been a few other times in my life where this has happened...

wendy is a great friend of mine that i met when i was working at the mall in downtown providence... we would see eachother a lot (she worked literally over a 6 foot wall from me) iwould see her in the parking garage having a cigarette because i was out there doing the same thing. i cant remember the first thing we said to eachother but i do remember that in less than a week we were both out an break and we were both last back to work because she was telling me about her life back home in colorado and her family and her realationships and why she was here now... and i met joe (her fiancee) who also worked over the same 6 foot wall and the rest is history. we were instant friends...

the next was a boy i worked with ... josh... the first day i worked he was my night supervisior. (first off i fell in love with this kid because he is so uber sweet and adorable)
i loved him from the moment i met him... like wendy and joe... and sure there have been more that are definilty worth talking about but im way to lazy... but the pattern i want you to see in all this is...

wendy- not from here. born in cali... grew up in colorado.

josh- not from here. came for school from mississippi.

andy-(one of my new friends) not from here... she is from penn. she met her fiancee there at school... his name is... mike... i think... it gets confusing and i should figure it out before i go to their house next week....

mike and matt- (brothers...) not from here... from maryland origionaly and one in jersy last... one in penn)

crystal- not from here. from north carolina and she met her fiancee matt... (i think... i may have them mixed up.) at school also... and now they are one happy family...

and its great... but its really sad that you have to be from somewhere else to be nice to rhode islanders...

rhodies are generally tense unfeeling rude creatures with no compassion for anyone else and cannot understand that they are not the only human beings on earth...

so... i was trying to tell you about why i was at work so late... but ill just wrap it up here and say i had a great night.
the new friends came in and were sitting next to wendy and joe so they got to talk a little and another group of friends all came in too... i love when i can say "i had a bar full of friends last night" and its not compromised at all...
so... in closing...

"i had a bar full of friends last night. it was a good night"
