well fuck me running... im getting sick again... i was sick just a few short entries back! it feels almost like the exact same thing but is virtually impossible to catch the same starnd twice. well, at least i wont develop a cough seeing the other one hasnt gone away yet...i had to work last night...
we have 2 bars. one of them is very small and seats about 8 the other is bigger and seats between 20 and 30... we have enough seats in the joint for about 100 people and can fit at least 300 inside... this sound like the lead up for i was soooooo busy and made so much money but... no...
i was at the big bar but even thou we are generally slow in the winter there are 2 bartenders on after 9pm... so... we were so bored that we decided to just rotate breaks and i managed to smoke a pack of butts even thou i was at work... suck ass. i like working for the little repair time my lungs get.
oooh! i got asked the strangest thing last night. some friends of a friend (my barback last night) came in to visit. they were sitting in the little bar and i was requested by them the next time i had a sec. so i stroll out with my cigarette thinking its going to be a question about my make up or how i made that drink but it was
"how would you feel about dressing up and being painted head to toe like a greek statue and wearing really expensive jewelry and standing still at a cocktail party in 2 weeks?"
interesting... its said these are really nice people and i know the group they are talking about... these people paint themselves to look like stone gargoyles and hang out at events downtown. so... id like to be associated with them.
problem #1- i cant stand still to long. i have really bad knees and standing still makes me sick
problem#2- i have to go meet these people before i leave for texas on thursday.
problem#3- its 2 days after i get back from texas
problem#4-its in boston. i would imagine we would carpool but i cant drive up there myself... i cant.
but it sounds interesting. i was told i can meet them because there is a goth music festivle at a club downtown. GOTH MUSIC FESTIVLE????
wouldnt that require synths and thats it?
interesting. i would love to do this bu t im lazy... but part of revamping my life is to not let things like this go by... im so privilaged they even asked =)
